the London Motorists Action Group ("LMAG"), which has been set up to
campaign for fair enforcement of parking and similar regulations.
London council elections are due in May, and we want to have your
support and that of tens of thousands of others in raising a coordinated voice
for an end to these abuses at the one time in four years when local councilors have
to listen to us. LMAG will campaign for
changes in enforcement practices (whether by traffic warden or camera) so that
they regain general public consent. Apart from a campaign at the elections, we
will challenge the legality of some of the worst current practices. Our
detailed objectives, and who we are, are set out in full on this website.
We will
act in the interests of both individual and commercial motorists, and of
businesses affected by unjust enforcement practices.
